The Membrane Stirrer (r) gently mixes the media while providing cells with gases and nutrion needed. Conventional STRs (l) destroy cells through bubble aeration.

Compared to conventional runs, our Membrane Stirrer achieved the closest to in-vivo results (lung organoids) our academic partner ever measured, producing 3mm large organoids and 100% living cells inside the structure after a process period of 35 days

More than 30 mn cells/mL without additional oxygen

In a benchmark run with a thoroughly optimized conventionally sparged process, the Membrane Stirrer in the first run achieved the same top-notch cell density, but without the need to add any oxygen to the input gas.

More than +200 % increased process yield

Compared to a conventional stirred-tank system, our Membrane Stirrer doubled the achieved cell density and increased production volume by further 30% due to foam avoidance.

Human iPSCs were expanded with remarkable success, reaching an impressive expansion factor of 65! Benchmarked against a conventional bioreactor, our system delivered outstanding performance with a threefold increase in total cell numbers—surpassing an incredible 1.6 billion cells!
